We have an exciting role for a **" Part Time Kitchen Assistant"** to work in our state-of-the-art test kitchen in Deeside.

**PURPOSE OF ROLE**

To support the Iceland Buying Team and the Product Process Development Manager driving the delivery of Product Quality for all Iceland Own Brand Products.

To provide Product Launch Support for all Iceland Own Brand Products in accordance with the critical path working with the Iceland Kitchen, Trading Team and the Product Process Development Manager from concept product approval through to post launch review.

To assist with the effective management of key personnel across all Iceland categories and suppliers providing excellent communication resulting in joined-up planning between all areas of the business.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Preparing samples
- Assist the NPD Technologist with the preparation and presentation of samples to the Trading Team and / or Supplier when required.
- Shopping for required Iceland Kitchen samples
- Shop as requested and required by the Iceland Kitchen team, completing the information required, photocopy receipts, top up float.
- Accurate record keeping of receipts and monthly expenditure, reporting monthly expenditure to the Product Process Development Manager
- Ensure product storage, rotation and disposal is managed.
- Room preparation, clearing up, cleaning all equipment
- Ensure that all kitchens are 'setup’ for use as required, cleaned when the activities are finished and are ready for use.
- Ensure all Iceland Kitchen têxtiles are laundered and available.
- Ensure all Iceland Kitchen sundries are available, topped up and re-stocked as required.
- Sample receipt, labelling, storage and rotatio
- Ensure that all sample deliveries are receipted.
- To record all samples received, updating the sample log.
- Store samples in appropriate areas.
- Dispose of out-of-date stock appropriately.
- Assist with the preparation and serving of Lunches and clearing away.
- Assisting with Range Reviews, Store Managers Conferences, all internal / external Iceland Kitchen duties as required by the Kitchen.
- Duties will include cleaning, with deep cleaning of appliances, clearing out of Iceland Kitchen freezers and fridges every week disposing of samples where required, kitchen equipment & calibration checks.
- Adherence to Health and Safety / Hygiene Policies at all times
**This is a part time role working between the hours of 12 noon to 6pm Mon-Friday
