Specialist Clinical Physiologist

An opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Physiology Department for an enthusiastic and motivated Specialist Cardiac Physiologist to work within a progressive multidisciplinary department.

You should have experience of and be competent in a wide range of invasive and non-invasive cardiology investigations including diagnostic cardiac catheterisation and Brady device follow up. You will take a lead role in Exercise Tolerance Tests providing input to the Chest Pain Assessment Unit and Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinics, also analyse and report a high number of 24 - 72 hour monitors which includes input to the Physiologist led Arrhythmia Pathway Service.

You would be required to have basic supervisory skills in order to appropriately manage staff with the new purpose built Acute Cardiac Care Unit and Cardiac Day Unit which has recently opened within Crosshouse Hospital.

**You should have**:
BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
ALS/ILS
and preferably be registered with RCCP

Driving licence is preferred for this position.
