**Job Title**: Events Co-ordinator
**Salary range**: £24,000 to £27,500 per annum
**Location**: Bristol
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
**Working Pattern**: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office and working from home.
An Events Co-ordinator works within the Marketing Department, providing general and event management support to the Events Manager, in the planning and project management of the busy program of events.

**The Events Co-ordinator**:

- Supports the Event Manager and Frazer-Nash Business Managers to maintain and develop a diary of in-person and virtual events for each market sector
- works with them and the team members to consider the benefits and goals of attending specific events and assists in the development of the business case and budgets.
- Works closely with the Events Manager to determine exhibition space, budgets, timescales, and suppliers.
- Ensures and is involved with creating concise joining instructions/pre-event communication to delegates to ensure they are fully aware of all event details before attending.
- Supports with the management of risk assessments prior to any events and ensures all Health & Safety checks are completed and signed off ahead of each event.
- Co-ordinates the booking of stand equipment, merchandise, and collateral, supporting the management of all logicises associated with the event.
- Supports the project management of the creation of new materials (exhibition graphics, brochures, leaflets) ensuring that research, writing and design can be balanced with existing team priorities. Collates case studies and digital information packs where appropriate.
- Supports with onsite event management which could include occasional international travel and weekend work, co-ordinates the stand build and break down; and assists colleagues during the event.
- Works with the wider Marketing team (communications, Website and Social Media Officer and Graphic Designers) to develop promotional activities to support specific events.
- Reports progress to Events Manager and Business Managers, colleagues at appropriate intervals; working with them to overcome challenges as appropriate.
- Reports and analyses event outcomes and effectiveness.
- Manages central filling of all paperwork and maintains appropriate records.
- Proposes new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process.

**Requirements**:
**Essential Requirements**:

- Ability to support the day-to-day project management, planning and organization process, alongside the ability to support the Event Manager with the prioritization of competing priorities and an ability to work to tight timescales.
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written), including proof reading skills.
- Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of programs used for presentations.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- A qualification in Events Management, Marketing or Communications is not essential, but would be advantageous
- Experience in Events, ideally in a professional services organisation
- Driving License
