**Title: Inventory & Logistics Co-ordinator**
**Reports to**:Group Supply Chain Manager
**Salary: Contract**: 12 months Fixed Term Contract (FTC) - Maternity Cover

**Job Purpose**:
To be responsible for the planning of inbound deliveries from a variety of suppliers in line with the supply chain team objective. Working to achieve KPI’s and proactively looking at ways in which to improving the supply chain efficiencies.

**Main Duties**:

- Logistics Planning for inbound deliveries from Far East and European suppliers
- Co-ordinate all truck bookings with European suppliers
- Management of container bookings with TC China and act as the co-ordinator on behalf of TC Group with our Freight forwarding company
- Management of inbound deliveries and bookings with the third party warehouse including any associated administration
- Monitor, investigate and resolve inventory adjustments and reconciliations
- Manage incoming enquiries related to inventory levels at the warehouse to assist with providing an exceptional customer experience to TC’s customers
- Maintain excellent communication skills with suppliers, third party warehouses and within the business
- Look for ways to reduce any cost associated with transportation and customs clearance
- Use initiative to actively resolve underlying issues related to inventory management and seek to change current processes
- Provide cover for holidays and sickness for the other team members
- Ensuring correctness and integrity of system data applicable to the supply chain function
- To perform other tasks as and when required to do so

**Skill and Experience**:

- Experience in a Logistics Planning position or an Inventory Management role desirable
- Demonstrate an excellent numeric ability
- Proactive, 'can do' attitude
- Demonstrate excellent written and communication skills
- An experienced user of Microsoft Excel
- Provide excellent attention to detail

**Personal Attributes**:

- Desire to help the company achieve its goals
- Motivated, positive, confident, and able to work from own initiative

**Salary**: Up to £29,000 depending on experience.

**Hours**:

- 37.5 hours per week
