**Site Colleague Experience Coordinator - Chorley - Full Time/Perm working Monday to Friday**

**LICENCE AND OWN TRANSPORT ARE ESSENTIAL - THE ROLE NEED TO TRAVEL BETWEEN SITES**

We have a fantastic position available to join our team as a Site Colleague Experience Coordinator, working within our HR Function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in HR. You’ll be partnering with our site management to ensure a fantastic employee experience throughout their time at Saint-Gobain, positively impact those that you work with and working with our Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and implement areas for improvement. Within this role, your goal is clear, make the sites a ‘Great Place to Work’.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
- An ‘always learning’ mind-set, to learn our business, learn this role and always looking for room for improvement.
- Resourcefulness and excellent time management skills.
- Use of PeopleSoft HR/Payroll system (or other, similar systems) an advantage but not necessary as full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of HR procedures would be an advantage, but not necessary.

**What will you be doing?**
- Work closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and implement areas for improvement.
- One trained you will become the Subject Matter Expert for people programmes and systems, promoting these across our sites.
- Assisting with recruitment, interviewing, meetings and continuous improvement projects.
- Engage with colleagues on initiatives and social events to encourage a positive working culture.
- Manage the hiring and on-boarding of new staff, and when required, the off-boarding of staff exiting.
- Work with management to ensure that training plans, talent reviews and probation reviews are conducted when required.
