Within West Yorkshire Police, the Regional Scientific Support Services (RSSS) provides forensic collision investigation services to the Yorkshire and Humber police forces. The FCI teams work regionally but operate from one of four bases: Melton (near Hull), Sheffield, Thirsk, and Wakefield.

We are seeking Assistant Forensic Collision Investigators to join our regional team. This role will involve supporting the investigation of fatal collisions across the Yorkshire region, working closely with highly skilled and experienced Forensic Collision investigators.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Examining vehicles which have been involved in fatal collisions.
- Assisting Forensic Collision Investigators at collision scenes.
- Documenting findings and preparing reports for the Criminal Justice System.
- Collaborating with investigation teams within the 4 Yorkshire forces, and wider agencies.
- Participating in training and development activities to advance your personal career.
