Care Worker

Job Overview:
We are looking for empathetic and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals either in a care home or through home care services. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily activities, offer companionship, and ensure their overall well-being and comfort.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients in mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Administer prescribed medications following healthcare professionals' instructions.
- Aid in meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Accompany clients for shopping, errands, and appointments.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Monitor and promptly report any changes in clients' conditions to healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to care plans ensuring individual needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in English language (both written and verbal).
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Valid driver's license for transportation needs.
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
