We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of HR to join a progressive and growing financial services organisation based in Leeds City Centre.

This role would suit an experienced HR Manager or Head of HR who is comfortable working within large professional services organisation and who is comfortable with strategic HR as well as being very 'hands-on’. Experience of working with a financial servicesorganisation or similar is required.

As well as liaising with all levels of the business, excellent interpersonal and communication and written skills are essential, with the ability to influence and direct all levels of stakeholders and to recommend and lead on a course of action.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement the HR business plan in line with the Company’s strategic objectives.
- Lead and manage all areas of the HR function including employee relations, engagement, leadership development, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, employee wellbeing and HR operational service delivery.
- Develop and monitor DE&I measures to promote an inclusive culture.
- Develop and implement all HR policies and procedures.
- Provide advice, guidance, coaching and support to the senior management team and team leaders.
- Liaise with external legal counsel as appropriate.
- Champion continuous improvement as an individual and companywide.
- Lead on all HR initiatives along with the HR team
- Experience within a Head of HR or similar position is essential, ideally within financial services or within a similar customer focussed, dynamic, commercially driven, high volume processing environment.
- CIPD qualified (preferably Level 7)
- Demonstrable ability to lead, manage and develop a team.
- Extensive understanding of employment law.
- Confidence and gravitas to provide professional guidance and direction at all levels.
- Understanding of commercial drivers of a business. Tenacious in identifying commercially viable initiatives to drive the People agenda.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills coupled with a flexible work ethic.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
