Marketing Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative Marketing Executive to join our team working across a growing portfolio of software businesses in the oil & gas, renewable energy, construction, and insurance engineering sectors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Marketing Executive is an excellent writer who is connected to our sales and marketing efforts to ensure lead generation and brand awareness. The Marketing Executive’s responsibilities will include:
Communications, Content and Brand
- Develop and own ‘brand’ to ensure consistency, brand guidelines and messaging.
- Build brand and seasonal content that is inspiring, interesting, useful, and unique to build Motion’s reputation within each of our relevant sectors.
- Oversee customer and new business communications.
- Act as the coordinator of the company’s content marketing initiatives - creating blogs, industry articles, press releases, white papers, newsletters etc.
- Manage our Motion Software LinkedIn account, automating industry, company, and product relevant posts.
- Keep promotional materials up to date and acquire client testimonials from existing customers.
- Organise and promote webinars for prospects.
- Organise the production of print, leaflets and other marketing designs and materials.
- Attend trade shows, organise stands and materials.

Website
- Review and oversee the company website development, working with external agencies - experience working with WordPress is beneficial.
- Monitor and improve performance of search engine optimisation through content/keywords.
- Plan and execute monthly PPC campaigns to drive traffic to the Motion website.
- Manage conversion traffic to turn visitors into direct leads for the sales team.

Reporting
- Provide weekly and monthly marketing reports.
- Generate campaign analysis reports for management.
- Track and analyse the effectiveness of marketing programs and recommend/implement improvements as required.

Your personal characteristics will include:

- A strength for writing both brief and in-depth content. Content samples are required to demonstrate writing skills.
- An analytical mind with the ability to evaluate and evolve approaches based on our business goals.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for creating written content across the website, blogs, social media, industry articles, and web articles is a plus.
- Self-motivated initiative taker.
- A strong work ethic and the capacity to meet deadlines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:

- B2B marketing experience or proven demonstrable experience gained in a similar role
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Experience managing a WordPress website
- Experience implementing PPC/Google AdWords campaigns
- Knowledge of search engine optimisation and content/keyword
- Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, & After Effects), or similar
- Excellent eye for detail
- Creativity

Highly Desirable:

- Marketing experience in the Lifting, Oil & Gas or Renewable Energy sector.
- Ideally, possess a marketing degree or qualification.
- Understanding of Salesforce or other CRM software.
