A challenging and rewarding Project Assistant role is required to support the infrastructure Delivery Team and ensure the County Council’s determination to see a number of important highway infrastructure projects delivered as soon as possible.

A proven track record of high quality business support in a project delivery environment, working with a range of project specialist is required in this important role. You must have demonstrable skills and experience in working within and support a team. It is also desirable that you have some experience of working with a team through the necessary project approval processes, although this is not an essential requirement.

Good administration and time management skills will be essential to support the multi-disciplined teams developed for each of the projects being delivered. Direct support to the Project Managers leading each project will also be necessary, working closely with the Assistant Project Officer and Project Officer.

The role will require dealing with the necessary project administration, including supporting project boards and specific Member Groups, will be required. Support will also be required for the necessary project communications, including contact with stakeholders and managing contact databases.
