To form part of a team to deliver the Occupational Health and Wellbeing call centre service for the workforce of the Trust, acting as a first point of contact for callers wanting general advice, support, information, or guidance regarding their wellbeing.

Respond to and take any action to resolve all queries and issues that arise in a prompt manner, some of which may require the undertaking of difficult conversation and referring any complex or difficult issues to the Occupational Health Office Manager

To support the implementation of any new processes and procedures

To be able to support the clinical teams within Occupational Health

To implement any national guidance regarding COVID-19 and winter flu to provide an accurate and timely advice service for our workforce.

Respond to and take any action to resolve all queries and issues that arise in a prompt manner, some of which may require the undertaking of difficult conversation and referring any complex or difficult issues to the Occupational Health Head of Department

Support the day-to-day activities of the operational running of the Occupational Health office including managing clinical diaries and invoicing external companies

To work within an accredited department, working to the high standard that is expected under SEQOHS accreditation

To ensure timely assessment, questioning, recording and maintenance of accurate systems / databases and processes to support the workforce.

To provide advice, guidance, information and support to callers and maintaining confidentiality always.

To organise and plan own workload activity in the delivery of the service.

Assist with the production of reports as required on call volumes and service demands. To confidently support our workforce and adapt methods of communication to deal with any stressful or difficult situations.

Support and work with other colleagues in the Occupational Health team to ensure that cover is always provided to maintain this essential service.

Share skills and experience to spread good practice throughout the team.

Attend meetings and undertake training, including mandatory and role-specific training, to ensure that skills and knowledge are kept up-to-date and appropriate to the post.

On occasions, and with notice, work outside of normal working hours to meet the needs and demands of the service.
