**London Club Lead **| Job Description

**Reports to**: London Manager
**Hours**: 40 hours per week across a fixed term of 1 year. These hours will include weekend and evening work.
**Salary**: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
**Location**: South London - Lambeth, Southwark and other surrounding areas

**Description**:To manage and lead on the delivery of our London Club programme - we are preparing to launch the 2023/24 season with 6 teams who will have access to training and a fixture programme. We are looking for someone who is able to deliver directly on these sessions as a Head Coach as well as support the London team to develop the club programme, on and off the pitch.

Girls United are looking for an individual who can support our community of players to have a positive experience throughout their whole journey with Girls United - from communicating training and session updates, responding to booking and interest queries, to delivering on pitch sessions.

Our Teams currently play within the Tandridge Sunday league so weekend and evening work will be part of the working schedule. We are exploring a secondary league to support player success and levels of differentiation.

**The London Club Lead will be responsible for (but not exclusive to);**
- Overseeing the strategy and management of the Club programme - including driving programme to reach engagement targets, player and coach outcomes and budget targets; working closely with London Manager to develop and improve the programme and to identify sustainable growth of the programme.
- Communicating with our community of club players about upcoming fixtures, training sessions, training camps or other relevant information to provide a positive player and programme experience.
- Support and develop programme design, output and processes to help enhance the impact of the programme for individuals, teams and the whole club/organisation.
- Managing all administrative tasks relating to our London Club teams which are part of Leagues and events - including internal and external communication to key stakeholders, parents and guardians, players and workforce. This will include match venue confirmation bookings and communicating with opponents about key information for fixtures.
- Building rapport and trust with players, attendees and young people to ensure they continue to engage with Girls United through their journeys. The aim will be to support our community to develop on and off the pitch through the power of football.
- Head Coaching on sessions across our London Club programmes alongside supporting and upskilling current and new Head Coaches at Girls United.
- Monitoring and Evaluation of agreed sessions aligned with the London Manager.
- Working collaboratively with other teams members including but not exclusive to; volunteers, sessional staff and contracted staff within London.
- Supporting the wider team to develop the organisation with new ideas, new programmes and new opportunities of growth, experience and delivery.

**Essential Qualities and Qualifications**:

- Qualifications** -** Someone who has a minimum of FA Level 2 in Football Coaching, including an in-date qualification for Safeguarding Children and First Aid in Football.
- Organisational skills - someone who is able to manage their time effectively and ensure they are punctual in completing their administration tasks alongside attending sessions and other in-person activities.
- Growth mindset - someone who is willing to develop themselves, those around them and the community they work in. This will include experience in delivering workshops or development training.
- Adaptability and flexibility - work in a fluid, fast-paced and exciting environment of football. Understanding that hours are often across unsocial times such as weekends and evenings due to our contact with the community of players we have within Girls United FA.

**Desirable Qualities and Qualifications**:

- Experience - working with other coaches and supporting their development through PDPs and CPDs. Experience in managing health and safety alongside Safeguarding of sessions such as Risk Assessments and Emergency Action Plans.
- Communication - someone who is efficient at demonstrating impact and programme design through varied approaches depending on the recipient of the information.
- Organisation Skills - have experience in supporting multiple
