**Overview**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Service User Engagement Volunteer to support the Team with following up and checking in with our Service Users and to offer additional administrative support to the team. This great role will suit anyone who is interested in learning and gaining experience working within a Drug and Alcohol recovery service.

This volunteer role is within the Brighton and Hove Substance Misuse Service in the Alcohol and Non Opiate team. The Alcohol and Non Opiate team specialise in supporting service users in recovery for Alcohol and non-opiate substance use. The Purpose of this role is to support the Team with follow ups and check ins with service users and offer administrative support to the team.

**Responsibilities**:
Checking in with our service users is important and helps to encourage engagement with their recovery support. The check ins will be used to ensure service users are still engaging with support, explore reasons why they may not be, offer advice and guidance on CGL Groups and sessions that they can attend and promoting CGL Support available to assist their recovery.

This is a great entry level voluntary role for anyone who is interested in learning and gaining experience working with in Drug and Alcohol recovery service in their community. As a member of the Team you will be offered a full training package and any additional training needed. You will be offered monthly supervisions, support and have access to a wide variety of Extra training packages to support your development and knowledge within the recovery service.
