About the Role

At RocketMill, we're looking for an experienced UX Designer and Prototyper to join our multidisciplinary team. As a UX Designer and Prototyper, you'll play a key role in creating best-in-class digital experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively across the design process from ideation to high-fidelity prototyping, providing seamless and visually appealing user experiences across a range of devices.
  • Work with our team to plan your approach in response to a brief, taking time to understand the client's requirements and relevant user needs.
  • Ensure your designs are fully QA'd and approved by other members of the team before sharing with the end client.
  • Discuss feedback openly with a client and with the team to resolve changes into the best possible design solution.
  • Receive, interrogate, and complete page authoring (web editing) briefs to execute UX and content changes via a CMS in a timely manner.
  • Get involved in other aspects of our service offering, supporting user research activities, UX audits, client workshops, and translating learnings into actionable recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with our CRO team members to design and iterate on solutions for ongoing conversion experimentation projects.
  • Champion digital accessibility in your work by incorporating inclusive design principles and adhering to WCAG guidelines.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and client leads, to ensure the successful execution of projects and deliverables.

Other Responsibilities

  • Showcase the UX/CRO team's value both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with client leadership to understand briefs, timelines, and project scope.
  • Plan your schedule effectively and balance your workload to ensure timely delivery of work.
  • Accurately track your time spent on each activity in our timesheeting system.
  • Keep your skills up to date and follow industry developments, sharing knowledge amongst the team.
  • Have strong, effective, and concise communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the success of the team and input into departmental initiatives.
