**Accounts Assistant - Administration**

**Essential Functions Job Role**:

- Assist Client Managers/accountants to meet internal deadlines and targets
- Requesting information and resolving queries with clients
- Send VAT and Tax Returns reminders to clients
- Updating internal databases and ensuring internal deadlines are met
- Liaising with HMRC on the behalf of clients
- Managing the Pension and dealing with our pension provider and Payroll admin
- Reminding the Partner of important tasks and deadlines
- Staying on top of and chasing clients for information that remains outstanding and queries that remain unresolved.
- Chasing progress of Jobs with other team members and briefing Partner with your findings

**General admin to support the Office Manager**
- Opening post
- Scanning
- Answering phones
- Database management

**Competencies, Skills and Requirements**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly and multi-task
- Self-Motivated and able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment with other accountants and support staff
- Strong problem solving skills with an ability to think critically and independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Experience in office Administration
- Good phone manner
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills are essential

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
