**Job Title**: Retail Liaison & Marketing Assistant
**Department**: Commercial Property Management
**Location**: The Avenue, Newton Mearns
**The Role & Reporting Lines**
To assist the Centre Manager in all aspects of Retail Liaison and delivery of the Marketing plan.
Reporting directly to Centre Manager, the role is 25 hours per week - exact days/hours to be confirmed.
**Core Objectives & Key Responsibilities**
**Retail Liaison**
- Support the retailers, however necessary, to help them deliver their own targets and performance indicators.
- Assist the Centre Manager, when required, in meeting managers and speaking to head offices regarding marketing and trade in general.
- Collate tenant trading information and maintain a log for client reports
- Effectively communicate all centre opportunities, marketing related and otherwise.
- Maintain frequent engagement with all store managers to understand their business challenges and needs.
- Assist the Centre Manager in preparing landlord reports based on and reflective of current trading trends within the centre.
- Assist retailers in keeping their sections within the Avenue website up to date.
**Events and Marketing**
- Support the Centre Manager in delivering an effective annual event calendar, which reflects the target audience along with the scheme’s commercial goals.
- Assist the Centre Manager in coordinating third party suppliers to deliver events which meet the quality expectations of centre management, managing agent and landlord.
- Maintain and update the centre’s social media channels, reporting and analysis
- Serve as liaison with retailers on event-related matters as required by the Centre Manager.
- Assist with managing on-site production and clean up for events as required.
- Pre-promotion of events via PR and digital media.
- Collate and analyse all feedback from each event and presenting results and conclusions from each event.
**Additional Expectations**
- Maintain an awareness of your environment and issues that may impact upon the performance of the Centre and put forward any ideas and initiatives for improvements to the Centre Manager.
- Understand and adopt company policies and procedures, including all Health & Safety requirements.
- Additional adhoc and reasonable tasks as requested by the Centre Manager, Managing Agent and / or the Client/Landlord.
