**About the role and our team**

Are you looking for a change in your career? We are looking for organised and friendly **Pharmacy Assistants **to join our Pharmacy department at Noble's Hospital

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Managing stock within the Pharmacy Department including distributing, stock rotation and expiry date checks
- Assembling medicines against prescriptions in the Dispensary under the direction and supervision of the Dispensary Manager and Lead Pharmacist
- Dealing with queries from staff and patients at the counter and telephone
- Working in the Aseptic Unit carrying out duties under the direction and supervision of the Aseptic Services Manager and Lead Pharmacist

If you have good communication skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team, then this could be the role for you

**What can this role offer me?**

You will have access to excellent development facilities and support, including our on-site education & training centre Keyll Darree.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be enrolled onto an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services within 6 months, fully paid for by the Pharmacy Department.

At a later stage in your career, you may have the opportunity to put yourself forward for consideration of further qualifications (BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services) and progress to becoming a Registered Pharmacy Technician after a selection process and period of training.

We have free on-site car parking at Noble’s Hospital. You’ll also receive a competitive salary with incremental pay progression and excellent holiday entitlement.
