**Tiler (Wet Room Floors and Altro Floors)**

**£ 33,945 - £ 36,648 per annum**

**Location: Across Nottingham**

**37 Hours Per Week - Flexible and agile working to cover the service 24 hours per day and 7 days a week (where applicable)**

**We are currently seeking suitably qualified Floor and wall Coverings operatives to join our Property team within Nottingham City Council Housing Services.**

We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced floor and wall coverings operative to join NCCHS's Property Team, where our tenants are at the heart of what we do, and no two days are the same. It's also an exciting time to join us as we continue to expand and grow our talented team.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- To help maintain the integrity of the structure of the property to include all those elements which give a dwelling its essential appearance, stability, and shape, and those which provide protection from the climate including internal and external wall and floor covering.
- To carry out works to any wall and floor covering and finish including tiling, where it is NCC Housing’s responsibility
- Must be able to fault find and undertake appropriate remedial works where failure of wall and floor structure, covering and finish linked to water penetration and damp.
- Ensure that any wall and floor coverings remain in a reasonable state of repair and any inconvenience to customers is minimised. Help to prevent injury due to, for example dilapidation, or failure of wall and or floor covering.
- To carry out as required specialised work such as scrapes, removal and arrange safe disposal of non-licensable asbestos based textured coatings to facilitate works
- Ensure any installations remain in reasonable state of repair and any inconvenience to customers is minimised

**Minimum Requirements**:

- You will bring an organised but flexible approach and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience of fitting Altro Floors and experience of welding wet room floors is essential
- Naturally, you will have experience in a repairs, new build, maintenance or contract environment, including assessing and inspecting jobs, updating records and great customer service skills.
- You will be working with a wider range of customers and stakeholders and as such the ability to act professionally with excellent customer service skills is essential.
- _Floor and wall coverings operative will be required to be qualified (City & Guilds/ NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)_
- Full and valid driving license.
