**About the role**
Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for aa **Water Lead** to join our team to work in **Coleshill**

**Role Purpose**:
Lead on the collaboration and coordination with our design joint venture and HS2, on the development of the basis of design.

**What you'll be doing**
- Support the Basis of Design in Water Resource & Flood Risk Monitoring, Groundwater, WFD Compliance, watercourse diversions & Surface water and Flood Risk / hydraulic modelling
- Collaborate with HS2 and EWC Water teams to ensure efficient transfer of hydraulic models, Flood Level Analysis Reports, water and groundwater monitoring & surveys for BBVs requirements
- Finalise water monitoring strategy with DJV/EA/HS2 and complete Water Monitoring Management Plan
- Scope, plan and resource water monitoring by BBV and our sub-contractors
- Plan and resource water survey requirements
- Prepare the consultation package for Surface water and groundwater surveys
- Organise and attend with DJV Water teams key-meetings, workshops with HS2 technical leads, Environmental Agency, Local Flood Authorities to facilitate consent pre-engagement and get the approval of BBV design
- Review and assure all deliverables related to the WFRMP / Surface water and Flood Risk / hydraulic modelling / WFD, watercourse diversions and groundwater disciplines in liaison with Sub-lots Environmental Design Engineers
- Provide technical expertise/ support for Environmental & Design team in the Water / WFD / Watercourse diversion and Hydraulic modelling

**Who we're looking for**
- Member of an environmental/water professional body
- Previous experience working with a water specialism, within a management/lead capacity
- Experience working within a civil engineering contractor or consultancy
