This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, van and fuel card and benefits package.**

**General Overview**

Day to day supervision of trade applicable operatives, including subcontractors where necessary

To assist the Supervisor to manage the team in accordance with health & safety, productivity, quality and cost. To develop excellent relationships with customers and assist in managing the Supply Chain. At the same time, you will develop your own working knowledge through on site experience. To assist the team to manage a contract which has variable value ranges. To understand, implement and adhere to the company SHEQ policy/strategy.

The role will be primarily site-based, working with a slightly reduced PDA diary.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Adhere to the company quality standards with the Supervisor, including the management of defects, compliance to specification and materials, monitoring subcontractors and operatives conduct and workmanship.
- To assist the Supervisor on all site management duties, including;
- First point of contact for operatives before issue reaches Supervisor
- Undertake measuring for lager works and inform Supervisor for planning and procurement purposes
- Attend to rejected/recalled works resolving issues and reporting/tracking reoccurrences
- Meet Client representatives onsite to conduct joint inspections and relay recommendations
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met and implemented
- Collation of SHEQ compliance documentation such as permits to work
- Support with the delivery of Tool Box Talks
- Be able to utilise knowledge and experience to ensure solutions are given in a quick and efficient manner
- Be adaptable to overcome a variety of problems, escalating advanced complications to the supervisor as necessary
- Ensure all company vehicles are kept in a clean and tidy condition; conduct weekly inspections and report any damage immediately in accordance with the Company Procedure
- Ensure compliance to all Company policies and procedures (i.e. Company Quality Assurance system)

**Safety**
- Ensure any risks and near misses are reported to the Supervisor immediately
- Ensure all public protection measures are being taken and adhered to by residents and other members of the public
- Be responsible for your safety and others around you
