**About the role**

Staffordshire University is looking for a Digital Projects Officer to join the Marketing, Communications and PR department. Working collaboratively across Marketing and Recruitment teams and the wider university, you’ll be responsible for identifying, coordinating and delivering digital projects for our University website and other associated digital platforms.

You’ll be a catalyst for identifying and improving online engagement opportunities for our audiences. Taking a user-first approach, with agile project planning front of mind, you’ll help step-change the pace and quality of our project outputs and web improvements. This will involve understanding business and user needs, identifying and communicating opportunities and delivering on the digital transformation roadmap in the department. You’ll also work with the Web Team to ensure that the University’s online content is impactful, engaging and delivers on the objectives our marketing strategies.

**What you’ll need to be successful in this role**:

- Previous experience delivering successful digital projects
- Ability to thrive in an experimental and data-driven digital marketing environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of web, digital content and user experience principles
