**Cartwheel Coffee Roasters** is looking for a part-time Social Media Content Creator to join our team. Cartwheel is a specialty coffee roastery with two cafes, in Nottingham City and Beeston. As well as supplying coffee to our own cafes, we sell our coffee online and supply coffee and machinery to a range of other hospitality businesses. We run workshops and events for the public and are very involved in the wider specialty coffee community. Our focus is on quality, traceability, community, and sharing our love for coffee with anyone who wants to listen

We are looking for someone to join our team as a social media content creator and digital marketing assistant. You should have experience in a social media/digital marketing role, some knowledge and love of specialty coffee, and top-notch content creation skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Content creation: Images, reels
- Social scheduling
- Monitoring and handling messages, comments, tags etc
- Creating ads
- Being present at events or cafes to capture content (occasional weekends)
- Increasing engagement
- Launching and growing TikTok account
- Assist in the creation of social media campaigns, such as contests and giveaways.
- Brand partnerships
- Brand ambassador program/onboarding
- Analysing stats, growing engagement
- Help create and maintain internal communications (e.g., company newsletter, marketing materials).
- Help organize external events, such as trade shows and conferences
- Working alongside marketing manager and digital marketing team

Desired Experience and Skills

Essential:

- At least 1 year of social media experience (desirably for a hospitality or ecommerce business)
- Knowledge/experience of the specialty coffee industry
- Photography and editing experience, with an ability to capture and edit cohesive and engaging content
- Good working knowledge of different social platforms, including Facebook/Meta, Instagram and TikTok
- A track record of successfully building and growing engagement on social media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with different types of audiences
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties while remaining organized in a fast-paced environment.

If you do not meet all of these essential criteria but have a strong personal social media account/presence, you have a good read on the various platforms, you have an eye for style & tone of voice and can make interesting and engaging content, then we'd still like to hear from you.

Desirable:

- Basic video creation and editing experience, eg. CapCut, Canva or similar
- Knowledge of social media analytics and best practise
- Experience running paid and organic ads on Instagram/Facebook
- Copywriting and content writing experience
- Some knowledge of digital scheduling platforms eg. Later, Preview
- Videography experience

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm, Graduate
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.12 per hour
