**About Us**

The Student Conduct Team focuses on three policy-driven spheres of operation:

- Academic Misconduct
- Non-Academic Misconduct
- Sexual Violence and Misconduct

Academic Misconduct deals with breaches in assessments and examinations across of all Schools. Non-Academic misconduct encompasses behavioural breaches including discrimination, hate crime, drug possession and violence (among many others). The policy is split into two sections - minor and major offences - and each is investigated to allow the student the opportunity to respond to the allegation. Sexual violence and domestic abuse are addressed under the Sexual Violence and Misconduct policy, which allows reporting parties to have more involvement in the process. In all instances of Non-Academic Misconduct, the Student Conduct Team have actioned the Report + Support tool to be utilised throughout the University community by anyone wishing to report a breach of appropriate conduct to either the Student Conduct Team or other relevant departments.

**About the Job**

As a Student Conduct Officer, you will play a vital role in encouraging a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment within our university community. Your responsibilities will involve upholding the University’s Code of Conduct, both in academic and non-academic contexts and ensuring that all students are treated fairly and consistently.

**About You**

We are looking for someone who possess a good understanding of both Academic and Non-Academic misconduct issues commonly faced by students in a university setting. Familiarity with codes of conduct, policies, and regulations is essential.
