Social Media and Website Executive

The Gill Group is a diverse and complementary collection of companies consisting of Gill Civil Engineering, Titan Plant Hire, Discount Builders Merchants, RBA commercial Insurance, P.A.C.T, Britannia Onsite Concrete, Gill Foundation and Gill View developments. We are looking for a motivated individual to drive our social media presence and improve our website performance.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Control Social Media content on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and other growing social media platforms.
- Taking and collating content images and graphics.
- Help increase overall engagement and following.
- Measure, optimise and report of activity across social media platforms
- Implement and maintain on-site SEO of companies websites
- Use of SEO tools and systems including configuration of Google Analytics
- Identifying areas where the companies websites can improve conversions through analytical analysis and usability principles
- Maintaining the companies websites to ensure they are continuously updated and improved
- Responsibility to keep up to date with latest digital marketing trends and techniques

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Self-motivating, ability to work on own initiative and also be an active member of the team
- Basic knowledge of HTML and Content Management Systems
- Some creative flair with an eye for detail
- Understanding of key SEO and web usability principles
- Experience of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Google Tag Manager and SEO Tools
- Ambitious and keen to develop own expertise in SEO/digital marketing
- Be organised with the ability to manage your own workload
- Able to communicate effectively via written media
- Proactive and positive (happy) attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexible, ability to work to tight deadlines (go the extra mile)
- Strong MS skillset (excel/word etc.)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week
