Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has an opportunity for an Audio Visual Support Engineer on a 6 month's contract with a possibility of an extension.

**Full-time position working 35.00 hours per week**

**Start Date : 08/01/2023**

**This will be on-site 5 days a week**

**Inside IR35**

**Job Purpose**:
This Audio Visual ('AV') IT support role is customer facing and plays a pivotal part in ensuring the stability and efficient operation of the AV and associated IT technologies for the council's colleagues and citizens. Working as part of a team, you willbe responsible for dealing with day-to-day incidents, service requests and queries relating to the use of AV equipment. You will be assisting council colleagues, solving a broad spectrum of AV support tickets, both remotely and in person. You will be responsiblefor managing the hardware and software for all AV equipment as well as managing assets and maintaining the equipment and infrastructure.

**Role**:

- Managing the Council's AV (Audio Visual) experience, being a primary point of contact for any issues
- Ensuring that AV and associated hardware / software is maintained and up-to-date
- Assist with the setting up and running of AV meetings
- Ownership of support calls relating to AV incidents and service requests
- Provide onsite and remote technical support, resolving issues in a competent manner whilst communicating professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining an up-to-date record of assets
- Ability to travel within the borough as needed
