**The Firm**

This top tier, Legal 500 and Chambers ranked firm, are truly unique in the market. Despite being a modest 75 members of staff, they punch well above their weight and often act on the other side of Magic and Silver circle firms. Their Lawyers are innovative and entrepreneurial and are true sector specialists. They are a financially very strong and highly profitable, with continued success year after year.

With a strong management team, great infrastructure and support staff who have been in post for many years, with a passion for providing fee earners with the support they need, this allows the team to deal with work that other similar sized firms would not be able to manage.

There is a positive feel throughout the firm, a cohesive culture and investment in their workforce is testament to this unheard-of retention record. Most of their Partners are homegrown, they do not have billings or billable hours target but take a much more common-sense approach to billings. This refreshing approach allows them to really focus on service, clients and work. Rather than the usual gripes of the typical private practice firm.

The practice is a full multi service offering. Their reputation has been built on media law, although this is not exclusively the only sector, they deal in. They work with some of the largest global superstars on the talent side, this client base must be seen to be believed.

Through getting to know this firm, what personally really stands out to me is their open and transparent culture, they really care about the staff that work there and nurture Lawyers to become the best they can possibly be. Partners are on hand and mentor their staff to ensure that the next generation of firm's management continue to take the firm from strength to strength.

**The Role**

The firm are seeking to hire a Gaming Partner into their West End, London office.

The client base will include; Owner-managed businesses, celebrities, individual athletes, sports clubs, Technology companies, and large PLC's.

This department are known Nationally. You will have the autonomy to shape your caseload, a key focus for the firm is to continue to grow their Gaming department. You will be at the forefront of this department and will deal with a broad range of work, this will include; Software licensing agreements, Data protection, Commercial contracts and offering advice to businesses and start up tech, app companies and much larger well-known FTSE 250 companies.

You will be at the forefront of this thriving department.
