**About the role**:
We are currently looking for a Payroll Supervisor to Supervise the processing of 4 weekly/weekly payrolls. Ensuring all Company employees are paid accurately and on time. Reporting directly to the Payroll Manage

Key responsibilities include
- Payroll processing for weekly payroll of circa 1500 employees and 4 weekly payroll of circa 7000 employees ensuring accurate and timely payment.
- Ensure all temporary and permanent data changes are processed in and accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure auto enrolment assessments and enrolments and performed each pay period in line with statutory obligations.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining all payroll processes and associated documentation.
- The main point of contact for all employee payroll queries
- Responsibility for payroll reporting in line with business requirements.
- The main point of contact for HMRC correspondence and queries - escalating to the Payroll Manager as required.
- Ensure all statutory payments (SSP, SMP. SPP, ShPP etc) are paid as appropriate and in line with statutory obligations.
- Ensure HMRC RTI information (FPS, EPS) is submitted to HMRC in an accurate and timely manner by statutory deadlines.
- Supervise, coach and train payroll administrators.
- Be the lead for their payroll(s) in the absence of the Payroll Manager.
- Deputise for other payroll supervisors in times of absence.
- Build and maintain relationships with other internal departments such as finance, HR, store management.
- Assist the Payroll Manager and be the SME operational lead for any projects related to your payroll(s).

**About You**:

- At least 3 years Payroll Experience
- Experience of using SAGE (Snowdrop/KCS version) (D)
- Experience of using Remotepay. (D)
- Knowledge of HMRC’ current legislation e.?g. NI rates,statutory payments etc.
- Strong MS Outlook, Excel and Word skills are essential.
- Flexibility with hours and peak periods of work is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
- Team player
- iTrent (desirable)
- Excel (desirable)
