Position Overview:
Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA) is a charitable organisation dedicated to

supporting and empowering refugees in need of aid integrating into society.

At ACAA we are seeking a talented and passionate Content Creator/Social Media Assistant

to join the team on a part-time basis. This role will be instrumental in rebranding and

repositioning ACAA to the public, effectively communicating our mission, values, and impact

through engaging content and strategic social media campaigns.

Responsibilities: Content Creation: Develop compelling and creative content for various

press releases. Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop innovative

ideas for content that align with ACAA&'s branding strategy. Write, edit, and proofread

content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Conduct thorough research to gather

relevant information and statistics to support content creation.

Social Media Management: Create and implement social media strategies to enhance

ACAA's online presence and engagement. Manage and update ACAA's social media

platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) by posting regular content,

responding to comments and messages, and monitoring conversations. Monitor social

media trends, news, and emerging platforms to identify opportunities for ACAA's content

and campaigns. Analyse social media insights and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of

campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

Visual Content Creation: Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing

graphics, images, videos, and infographics to support social media and marketing

campaigns. Ensure brand consistency across all visual content by following ACAA's brand

guidelines and style.

Community Engagement: Engage with ACAA's online community by responding to

comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Foster

relationships with influencers, partners, and supporters through social media interactions to

amplify ACAA's reach and impact. Monitor and participate in relevant online communities,

groups, and forums to identify opportunities for collaboration and engagement.

Support to Head of Marketing: Assist the Head of Marketing with various tasks as needed,

including research, data analysis, scheduling, and administrative duties. Collaborate closely

with the Head of Marketing to implement marketing strategies and support overall

departmental goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

- A strong passion for the mission and values of ACAA. Excellent written and verbal

communication skills.
- Proficiency in content creation, copywriting, and storytelling.
- Demonstrated experience in social media management and strategy. Knowledge of

various social media platforms, their features, and best practices.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe

Creative Suite) preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects

simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to measure social media performance (e.g., Facebook

Insights, Google Analytics).
- Knowledge of SEO principles and practices is a plus.

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 15 hours per week, with some flexibility

effectively, while also providing assistance and support to the Head of Marketing in various
