Head of Inside Sales

This Genomics Technology company is looking for a Head of Inside Sales based in Cambridge, to lead their Inside Sales Team which is spread across the EMEA region.
The company creates cutting edge technology to analyse genetic variation and function in the field of Genomics and Next Generation Sequencing. This company is a leading presence in this field, with the majority of the world's sequencing data being generatedusing their instruments.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop, and execute the Regional business plan, meeting assigned targets and objectives.
- Recruit, develop, coach and manage the inside sales team.
- Lead, inspire, organise and direct the tactical approach and strategic activity of the inside sales team.
- Develop the skills within the team as a digitally competent sales team
- Ensure customer satisfaction is performed, delivered, and constantly improved.
- Develop a team culture where the customer comes first.
- Innovation and risk taking are encouraged with a strong sense of community and collaboration, aligning with the overall culture of the company
- Establish territory quotas and lead by example with a mind set of overachieving
- Ensure that sales staff achieves their forecasts, follows company guidelines/practices/policies, and provide timely development plans to correct for underperformance.
- Leverage company tools and continually look for ways and tools to enhance sales ability and increase productivity.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Customer Solutions).
**Requirements**:
- Solid experience of driving inside sales in an environment driven by technology
- Strong capacity to lead, motivate and nurture a team that is spread across the EMEA region
- Collaborative, people focused and aware of current trends in inside sales
- Degree qualified, with the ability to learn technical information quickly.
- Science background not necessary, strong inside sales is preferred.
