We are looking to recruit two Learning Support Assistants (Intervention) on a fixed term contract until 31.08.24 to work with our SEN and Special Facility students in class at The St Leonards Academy. Each role will have a specific focus:

- Exclusion prevention - to support students with special educational needs focusing on behaviour and attitudes.
- Attendance - to support students with special educational needs focusing on attendance and safeguarding.

We can offer a supportive team and the opportunity to make a real difference to the outcomes of students you work with. These roles works across teams and so strong communication skills are key as well as a strong sense of creativity and empathy.
- Is patient, calm and relaxed with an enthusiastic approach to learning
- Is confident in running stimulating, fun and educational activities with children
- Can build and encourage confidence in children, allowing them to lead their own learning when appropriate
