Key Responsibilities:
**Care Assistant Duties**:

- Provide high-quality personal care to clients, assisting with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being.

**Care Coordinator Duties**:

- Ensure that carers are appropriately rostered and allocated to clients, delivering care safely and on time according to clients’ wishes and care plans.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, their representatives, and care staff.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating care staff, taking into account their skills, experience, and availability.
- Maintain accurate records and produce reports as required.

**Duties**:
**Maintaining Professional Communications**:

- Represent the company professionally in all forms of communication.
- Ensure prompt and respectful telephone responses.
- Use systems to record and monitor mileage and travel distances, improving efficiencies.
- Keep the Registered Manager informed of urgent matters or issues.
- Distribute staff rotas at agreed intervals and ensure accurate record-keeping.

**Coordinating and Scheduling**:

- Handle new client referrals and process changes to care and support needs.
- Schedule carers to deliver care according to clients' personal care plans.
- Account for client preferences, travel arrangements, and working patterns.

**Working With Staff**:

- Create detailed work schedules for carers and provide instructions/guidance.
- Ensure adequate recruitment and skill mix to meet business needs.
- Maintain carers' work/life balance with appropriate scheduling.

**Maintain And Improve Quality And Compliance**:

- Adhere to the company’s Quality Assurance Policy and CQC regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and report any legislative issues to the Registered Manager.
- Ensure accidents and incidents are recorded and acted upon.

**Work Well As Part Of The Walfinch Team**:

- Work flexibly to meet business needs.
- Maintain up-to-date electronic and handwritten records.
- Participate in general office duties and report preparation.
- Take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota as required.

**Desirable**:

- Professional qualification in healthcare
- Good geographical knowledge of the local area
- Experience using rostering software and coordinating care
- Understanding of care provision legislation and ethical principles
- Full driving license

Compensation:
