An exciting opportunity for a **Payroll and Benefit Administrator** has become available to join the HR Delivery Team of one of our Financial Services clients, working as part of a small team within HR Delivery to provide a high quality, payroll & benefits service.
Ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time and receive their contractual and flexible
benefits.
This role can be based in their offices in **London, Leeds or Edinburgh.**
**What does the role involve?**
- End-to-end processing of starters, leavers, maternity, sickness and variable payroll data.
- Processing the monthly payroll interface reports and verifying that the output is correct
prior to sending to the outsourced payroll provider.
- Provision of bi-monthly datafiles to our benefit administrator and ensuring that core and
flexible benefits are processed correctly
- Working in partnership with the HR Helpline, Business Partners and other stakeholders to
ensure that deadlines are met and transactions processed correctly.
- Resolving routine employee payroll & benefit queries
- Documenting and maintaining new payroll procedures and guidance for the team
- Liaising with the Finance team and monthly reconciliation of the payroll accounts

**Who you are**:
Relevant experience in a high-volume commercial environment through which you will have acquired an in-depth knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing (i.e. manual calculations, PAYE, NI, SMP, SPP, Pensions, tax year end, RTI etc).
