**Location/Summary**

**Key tasks**

The Administrator will be expected to carry out a number of tasks, using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel etc., to produce documents and maintain records, spreadsheets and databases. Ultimately, responsibilities revolve around the management and implication of procedures the company follows throughout the life of construction projects.

Tasks will include:

- Promoting the company in updating and maintaining tools such as website, linkedin, introductory brochures etc.
- Contacting, introducing and assisting maintaining relationships with Clients, in particularly their Pre-Contract & Commercial Departments
- Assisting with the completion of PQQs and compilation & submission of associated documentation
- Receiving and recording new tender enquiries
- Issuing of supplier and sub-contractor enquiries (quotation requests) on behalf of the Estimator/Commercial Director
- Tracking and recording progress of bids.
- Assisting with organizing client events, including sending invitations, recording attendees, making reservations etc.
- devising and maintaining office systems & record
- using electronic systems to maintain and update spreadsheets, internal databases, raise purchase orders etc.
- liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts
- organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information
- photocopying and printing various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues
- answering general enquiries by telephone
- maintaining records, filing systems and computer files
- undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required and/or requested by senior members of staff

**Person Specification**
- Possess good secretarial/administrative experience, some office-based admin experience essential_
- Ability to report to managers and follow instructions_
- Work well as part of a team_
- Excellent self-presentation and tone in person, on the phone and via electronic & paper communication_
- Keen and enthusiastic, with a good attitude and work ethic_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year
