he post holder will work closely with Primary Care Network (PCN) member practice IT leads/managers ensuring that IT systems related to the delivery of the Network Direct Enhanced Service operate securely, efficiently and effectively. They will, as required, attend PCN meetings to advise the PCN Board as meeting support and when appropriate to discuss IT related matters.

The PCN Business Intelligence and Data Administrator is responsible for undertaking a wide range of IT systems management duties in support of the interoperability of clinical systems across the PCN especially where there may be different clinical systems in operation within member practices. They will, as directed by the Board or Leadership Team, play their part in ensuring that the data recorded across the PCN clinical systems is consistent by use of common coding data and templates for the recording of patient information.

Part of this role duties include providing support to the Clinical Directors, PCN Business Manager, Administration Manager as well as our Pharmacy and Social Prescribing Team. You will closely work with our member practices to develop and support service improvement in line with local and national priorities. Building strong relationships with primary care colleagues and local partners in order to proactively support and drive change will be a key element of this role.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Administration**
- Liaise with practice managers regarding consultation room availability for PCN staff and set up clinic rotas.
- Attend and take minutes for a variety of PCN meetings and distribute to all members in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with members of the network and arrange meetings as required and collate and distribute meeting papers to all relevant staff
- Collate and edit newsletters and publications for the PCN and patient groups.
- PCN event management, including training and patient events.
- Manage the PCN inbox, responding to enquiries where possible and triaging and escalating as required.
- Assist in the revision and maintenance of filing and administrative systems so that written and digital information is easily accessible and secure.
- Carry out additional appropriate administrative and operational duties as required by members of the PCN.
- Ensure PCN staff have necessary access to practice clinical and administrative IT systems.
- Ensure key documentation such as consent and feedback forms are obtained and filed appropriately.
- Direct contact with patients including making appointments and recording patient information in clinical systems.

**IT Administration Responsibilities**
- To cooperate with practices and, where practicable, standardise the IT management processes across the PCN.
- To provide advice and answer IT related queries from PCN member practices.
- To maintain up-to-date knowledge of the main IT systems and software programmes used within the PCN by attendance at related training courses.
- To identify and be proactive in identifying IT training needs of staff within the PCN, and support with the delivery of this as agreed with the Clinical Director and PCN management
- To support in the delivery of enhanced services and other service requirements on behalf of the PCN.
- To contribute to public health campaigns and other PCN services (e.g., flu clinics), providing a central co-ordination of information for use by member practice on their websites, social media and waiting room information screens.
- Contribute to the development of the strategic objectives of the PCN, providing specialist IT knowledge.
- Support virtual and remote models of consultation and patient support including e-consultations, telehealth and telemedicine
- Proactively researching advances in digital technology to support the ambition in the long term plan of a Digital First vision for Primary Care and advising the PCN Management Board of potential opportunities.
- Management of the PCN Intranet and Website

**Data Analysis Responsibilities**
- Support PCN and practice leads in facilitating searches.
- Support delivery of the Network DES, PCN delivered services, QOF, incentive schemes, QIPP and other quality or cost effectiveness initiatives by providing data both at PCN level and member practice level.
- Maintain the PCN Ardens Dashboard (or similar), running monthly searches (or as agreed) to ensure that data is up to date, providing reports on a quarterly basis for the Practice Forum, and on a monthly basis for the Management Board using a range of systems including SystmOne, DiiS and MS Office.
- To undertake Population Management reporting as identified and required by the Board and PCN Teams, to support PCN work targeting specific cohorts of patients experiencing Health Inequalities.
- Undertake any tasks consistent with the level of the post and the scope of the role, ensuring that work is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
