A permanent, full time role based in Bury for a strong Administrator to work as part of a busy finance function, specialising in Gift Aid. This role is paying between £24,000 and £28,000 per annum.

**Client Details**

Our client is a religious organisation that covers a wide range of areas across the Greater Manchester space. They have a vision for the next ten years that involves injecting excitement and vibrancy into the hearts of the local communities that they serve.

**Description**

The key responsibilities of the Finance Administrator, will include but may not be limited to;
- Working closely with the Giving Advisor's to enable maximum giving potential;
- Process all submitted online forms to enable parishes to effectively and efficiently claim Gift Aid on their relevant donations;
- Submit accurate and timely claims to HMRC and process any tax refunds as appropriate;
- Data entry of giving data into the Donation Management system;
- Monitor and audit data input into the system and advise churches accordingly to correct/amend data;
- Provide support, guidance and information to all parishes in the diocese on all aspects of tax-efficient giving.

**Profile**
- Experience within an administrative or financial role within the Charitable sector;
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience of volunteering/fundraising for a charity;
- Knowledge of Gift Aid, Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme (GASDS), and charity tax legislation.

**Job Offer**
- A permanent role currently based in Manchester City Centre, but moving to Bury in Jan 2023;
- Between £24,000 - £28,000 per annum plus benefits including 22 days' entitlement in first 12 months, rising to 25 days after 12 months' service, in addition to bank holidays and 3 church days.
