**Colleague Experience Manager**

**Location**:Brentwood, Essex - flexible working available

**Work pattern**:5 days per week (35 hours)

**About The Vacancy**:
The key purposes of this role are to support and drive the colleague engagement strategy for McColl’s, look after the development of our D&I and Wellbeing activities around our key areas of focus: representation, policies, learning and engagement. SupportingMcColl’s in our aspiration to become a truly inclusive and diverse organisation, by reviewing and adjusting our exciting D&I and Wellbeing strategy, building on results achieved so far and creating new initiatives aligned with McColl’s values and vision.
- Key tasks include:_
- Responsible for all listening and responding channels, evolving our existing channels (colleague survey and colleague forums) and developing new channels
- Providing the business with regular insight into how colleagues feel about working at McColl’s; developing action planning tools to support
- Develop the McColl’s Wellbeing Agenda in collaboration with the Head of Colleague Experience
- Developing robust relationships with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partners as well as initiating and advocating further CSR activity
- Be the Subject Matter Expert on all aspects Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing best practice with guidance from the Head of Colleague Experience
- Continually review our strategic plans to ensure alignment with business priorities and external trends
- Oversee our D&I and Wellbeing roadmap and deliver on our main D&I initiatives
- Create additional initiatives, by designing new frameworks, training, policies and processes
- Work alongside key stakeholders to embed Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing throughout all parts of the organisation
- Collaborate with the Communication teams and Operations teams to engage colleagues throughout the business and promote an inclusive culture

**To Be Successful, You Will Need**:

- Passion for making McColl’s a great place to work
- Passion for colleague wellbeing
- Interest/prior experience in Diversity & Inclusion
- A CIPD qualification and retail experience would be preferable but not essential
