We require an Application Lifecycle Analyst to cover an existing workload within a major police force, based in Kidlington or Southampton (with home working).

This is an interim position for 6 months with the potential to be extended, dependent on workload.

**Role Purpose**:
**Skills required to be successful in the role**:

- Experienced IT Professional with SDLC and Application Lifecycle Management experience from initial concept through development and implementation to operations and support, leading development and/or Technical support teams to deliver business benefit.
- Practical knowledge of ICT infrastructure, software development and maintenance methods, tools and techniques.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and Service Level Agreements.
- Proven experience of managing staff in a matrix structure through significant organisational and structural change.
- Good communication skills - written / oral, customer focussed, team-worker, flexible, adaptable, a problem solver and able to work systematically and with little direct supervision.
- Must have capability to travel to different locations across both Forces and undertake all assignments in a timely manner. Due to the requirement to work flexibly, unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working; public transport may not be availableor suitable at these times. For this reason, a full UK driving licence is considered essential.
