**Job summary**:
The Operations division reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The Division is formed of existing experienced staff and several new staff who have come on board in the last 2-3 years.
- Premium and Data Control team
- Responsible for premium collection, responsible for ensuring that all UKEF business transactions are accurately recorded and maintained on UKEF’s corporate System, Advanced Commercial Banking system (ACBS)

**Job description**:
The team is responsible for accurately recording and maintaining details of UK Export Finance’s (UKEF) business transactions and international debt agreements on one of the department’s key corporate systems (Advanced Commercial Banking System (ACBS), “a comprehensive commercial lending and trading system of integrated functional modules that support the lending process from deal building through servicing and trading.”)

As an Operations Executive Officer, you have responsibility for the accurate and timely recording and maintenance of corporate data on ACBS by processing and entering data received from stakeholders. Providing support for any investigation of problems (referring to the ACBS System Administrators as required) and the re-entry or amendment to data entries within the corporate system.

As part of your duties, you will be expected to work as part of a team. To ensure that all incoming work is dealt with promptly to meet the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) time frame. Whilst also looking for ways in which processes and procedures can be streamlined and improved. You will also be responsible for assisting in analysing control reports and other data validation checks.

**Operational**:

- Ensuring that the work is processed accurately within the agreed KPI deadlines.
- Monitoring of the SharePoint site, working as a team to deal with workloads and priorities to maintain agreed service levels.
- To provide cover in the absence of other team members ensuring that the work is prioritised to maintain a good level of service.
- On an ongoing basis discussing and agreeing with other team members and managers overall operational priorities, issues to be addressed to maintain and/or improve the team and Division’s effectiveness.

**Data Recording, Processes and Procedures (Day-to-Day)**:

- The setup and maintenance of corporate data in ACBS to the highest possible level of accuracy within agreed parameters.
- To ensure processes and procedures of the work area are adhered to and that guidance is available and efficiently maintained. This includes identification of potential areas of weakness in systems or concerns with underlying business transactions and how they should be recorded.
- To identify, allocate and process premium receipts in line with branch instructions.
- To manage and maintain control logs, ensuring data is recorded promptly and accurately.
- Working closely with underwriters, post-issue and credit risk teams ensuring that the correct data is received.
- Supply of effective management information.
- Supporting the resolution of data issues.

**Business Development**:

- To help in developing procedures for novel cases.
- When required to provide advice and guidance on current recording of business transactions to other business areas (e.g., to Business Analysts undertaking development of new products)
- To Identify areas of improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of the work of PDC.
