The 4 star AA Accredited Holiday Inn London Gatwick **Worth** located in **Crawley** is currently recruiting for a full time Receptionist to provide an efficient reception service, whilst ensuring all guests are dealt with in a hospitable and courteous manner, according to IHG Brand Standards.

Our hotel currently has 158 rooms. A new state of the art Kitchen, restaurant, bar & reception area that has been extended and refurbished throughout. We have a brand-new conference facility that will accommodate up to 300 guests for private dining and functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to join a growing company.

A working knowledge of hotel operating systems is essential and a background of working in busy hotel environments would also be beneficial.

**Duties & Requirements**:

- **Must live local to Crawley**:

- Excellent customer service skills
- To display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
- To answer the telephone promptly and in a polite and efficient manner
- To assist guests with queries relating to the hotel, local transportation and the local area
- Upsell hotel saver packages
- To implement the hotel security policies and procedures and remain vigilant at all times
- Ensure all guests are charged correctly according to their reservation and charges are posted correctly
- Check guests in and ensure sufficient credit has been taken to account from their room and any incidentals
- Check guests out clearing balances and ensuring ledger payments are posted to the correct account numbers
- Ensure maximum IHG Rewards Club enrolments are achieved.
- Hotel experience is preferable
- Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
- Have an excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Must be flexible and able to work different shift patterns each week. Shifts start at 7am, 3pm and 11pm
