**Job Purpose**

The primary focus of this role is to provide administrative support to DAI’s in-house Talent Acquisition team in their function of recruiting international development experts to name in bids and for positions on live projects. The role is focussed on ensuring that recruitment compliance is kept up to date in terms of vetting, reference checks and our in-house databases. The role will also support the Talent Acquisition team in undertaking expert searches, posting job adverts and arranging interviews.

**Tasks/Responsibilities**
- Participate in routine vetting audits to check other teams are following in-house vetting procedures
- Responsible for ensuring that DAI’s in-house recruitment database is maintained and up to date, as well as seeking opportunities for its continual improvement
- Provide training to new starters on how to use the recruitment database and on DAI’s vetting process
- Formatting bid winning CVs for submission to clients
- Carry out routine recruitment support tasks such as preparing recruitment materials, posting jobs to appropriate job boards (including Taleo) and arranging interviews
- Support the Talent Acquisition team through the maintenance of team documentation and file management
- Other ad hoc team administration requests

**Qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience required**:

- Strong organisational skills - able to plan, organise, prioritise and oversee activities to meet business objectives
- Computer skills - able to effectively use standard office equipment and Microsoft-based software packages
- Previous experience working in a busy administration role
- Data collection and analysis - able to analyse data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making
- Verbal communication - uses clear and effective verbal communication skills to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans
- Market research skills - able to use research and analysis to develop a comprehensive understanding of market conditions
- Good interpersonal skills — able to establish and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally.

**Desirable experience required**:

- Previous experience working in a recruitment team would be beneficial
- Previous experience working with ATS (Applicant tracking systems) would be beneficial.

The salary offered will be commensurate with relevant experience. DAI offers a generous benefits package and there are several day-to-day perks of working at DAI that help keep us happy and motivated The range is £22,000 TO £24,000 on a full-time basis and salary offered will be dependent on relevant experience for the role.

The role is based in Hemel Hempstead, and you will be required to be in the office at least 3 days a week.
