**The Programme Delivery Executive (Early Years)**:
You will support the opening of new Scouting provision for 4 and 5 year olds, prioritising communities in areas of multiple deprivation, and with Black, Asian and minority ethnic families.

Marrying your knowledge in youth work delivery and pedagogy, the lived experience and enthusiasm of our volunteers, and over a hundred years of experience delivering skills for life, you will coach and support local volunteers in their decision making, planning, opening of new provision that is sustainable and delivers high quality programme that is impactful, relevant and fun.

**Key responsibilities as our Programme Delivery Executive (Early Years)**:

- New inclusive provision: You will work alongside colleagues to open new provision for 4 and 5 years old’s, prioritising communities in areas of multiple deprivation, and Black, Asian and minority ethnic families
- Innovation. Support the delivery of partnerships, initiatives and projects delivering Scouting in an Early Years settings, supporting the team to design, test, implement and evaluate innovation
- Young Leaders: Support colleagues to design and deliver additional support for Explorer Scout Young Leaders (aged 14-18 yrs) volunteering with the Squirrel Scout section, sharing challenges, co-design resources and undertake evaluation/ impact measurement activity
- Youth Social Action: Support colleagues to design and implement impactful national youth social action programmes for the Squirrel Scout section

**What we are looking for in our Programme Delivery Executive (Early Years)**:

- Experience of supporting the delivery of impactful activities related to the development of young people, at a regional or national level
- Knowledge of the UK youth sector and current policy agendas related to non-formal education for young people
- Knowledge of the #iwill six quality principles of youth social action and experience of supporting young people to make a positive impact in their community
- Existing knowledge, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge, related to early years education, youth work, and social action, preferably in areas of multiple deprivation
