Are you a compassionate, dedicated and motivated Leader who always puts people at the heart of everything you do?
Are you a professional who enjoys working as part of a ‘can do’, innovative and forward-thinking team as well as embracing the challenge of working autonomously?
Early Intervention in Psychosis Service, Suffolk is currently able to offer an exciting leadership opportunity to join our highly skilled and experienced team delivering bespoke and timely interventions to our service users, aged 14 - 65 years, and their families.
We are looking to recruit an experienced professional mental health practitioner (nurse, occupational therapist, clinical psychologist or social worker) who has an excellent working knowledge and experience of community mental health working. You will ideally have prior experience of team leadership / management and you will have a keen and driven interest and knowledge base in Early Intervention.
As a Clinical Team Leader you will be committed to ongoing service and clinical development inclusive of service user / carer involvement which will be paramount to ensure the effective implementation and sustained delivery of early intervention service protocols in line with National Clinical Institute of Excellence Quality Standards for EIP.
The role is responsible for the operational management of a range of aspects of service delivery within the team and for clinical/managerial supervision of professional staff according to the trust values.
As an advanced practitioner you will also offer advanced clinical contribution and supervision to specialist team assessment, formulation, treatment and care review governed under CPA. Extensive experience of working alongside service users and families with complex health and social care difficulties within the community would be essential as would prior experience of working with psychosis.
You will be working alongside a dedicated group of professionals who hold the service user, family, Carers and Social Recovery at the center of all that we deliver.
The EIP service offers regular clinical and management supervision with an emphasis on reflective practice both as 1:1 and group sessions. We hold a strong belief in team and individual development. You will have access to extensive training and career development that can be accessed through National EIP forums and across our Trust.
We are confident that being part of our EIP service would enable you to be the practitioner you trained, and would like, to be. This role will offer you the time and facilities to make a difference, whilst having the much wider Trust network across Suffolk.
Here at NSFT we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, talented, friendly and supportive team who like nothing better than sharing experiences and learning from each other. In addition to ongoing training and development opportunities, we are committed to providing an environment in which you can thrive.
Why work for us?We have challenges as a Trust, but we have ambitious aspirations, are pushing ahead with exciting transformation work and we need dedicated individuals to support us on our journey. We have strong, established professional networks coupled with an exceptional leadership team who will ensure you are truly cared for and cared about.
