This is an exciting opportunity to join University of the West of Scotland (UWS), one of Higher Education's most innovative modern universities.

We are seeking a confident and self-motivated EDI Coordinator to join our OD and EDI team. The role is responsible for promoting and championing equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within UWS and supporting the EDI Consultant and the Talent and OrganisationalManager with implementing the overall EDI strategy in line with the wider action plans and organisational development activities.

You will be the first point of contact signposting and providing advice and support on equality and diversity issues and support staff networks with their activities, offering administrative support, scheduling meetings and events, working closely with thenetworks to celebrate diversity, address concerns, guide on policy and practice and empower their members.

You will deliver relevant, engaging, and inspiring content for internal and external communications channels, supporting key dates / events throughout the year and represent the Equalities team as required at internal and external meetings, events, and networkgroups.

You will Support University EDI activities that are aligned to wider EDI strategy and action plans and research, contribute to, promote, and report on diversity initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement. You will also assist with policy implementationand review.

You will be a team player with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. With drive, enthusiasm, and tenacity you will be accustomed to operating within a challenging and changing environment. This is an excitingopportunity to make a real impact and to further your personal development.

This role is advertised on a full-time basis, however, we would be happy to discuss flexible working for this role.

The interview process will take place in a face-to-face setting on our Paisley Campus, however, interviews may need to take place virtually, depending on Government guidance, and appropriate arrangements will be made to accommodate this.
