Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and requirements to determine accurate cost estimates. Your expertise in cost control and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the profitability and success of our projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Conduct thorough research on materials, labor costs, and equipment needed for each project
- Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys to determine the quantity of materials required
- Utilize cost estimating software and tools to generate accurate estimates
- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards
- Present estimates to management and clients in a clear and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Estimator or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in estimating costs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using cost estimating software and tools
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
