Finance Analyst

My client in Wokingham is recruiting for a Finance Analyst on a 12-month contract. This is a really exciting and well-known business with plenty of opportunities for development and growth.

**Client Details**

**Description**
- Running and analyzing reports for the field sales such as coverage & frequency of sales calls, sales calls content/ type of conversations and volume and value sales by territory and product, Professional Consultant trainings etc
- Requires building up a fairly solid understanding of business numbers to ensure quality of updates. Whilst there is an element of running the reports, the more important part is understanding and analyzing the contents of the report and being able to applythis knowledge in commentaries and business partnering
- Also requires having or acquiring solid data handling skills in order to be able to address any issues in the existing flows

Business Partnering
- Business Partnering with Field Sales and professional education teams when developing new ways of analyzing data, bringing in new data sources, building plans etc
- Potentially automation of recurring reports or ensuring that recurring reporting process is as lean as possible
- Basic Development of new reports and analysis

Sales Operations / Sales Admin
- Sales Reporting
- Running of already set up standardized sales reports
- Updating of forecast trackers and tools
- CRM
- Maintenance of users
- Call reporting
- Resale
- Setup and maintenance of channel partners within SAP
- Data integrity checking
- Data import/upload to SAP
- Pricing
- Maintenance of pricing and eligibility
- Handling of pricing and territory assignment of new accounts
- Price Auditing
- Master Data Maintenance
- Creation of new Accounts
- Requesting amendments to existing Accounts
- Maintenance of local market attributes (e.g. segmentation)
- Annual de-activation of inactive accounts

**Profile**
- Excel (Strong skill level needed for standard Excel functionalities, VBA not required but useful)
- Inquisitive mind / interest to find out more about the business side of things
- Basic understanding of P&L (in particular sales, discounts and rebates structures)
- A thorough mindset, not afraid to ask questions if something is unclear
