The Best Connection is recruiting for a Maintenance Operative for our Wolverhampton based client.

**Immediate start available.**

**Pay rate is £12.00 per hour**

**Working hours are 07:00 till 15:30 Monday to Thursday with a 14:30 finish on Friday**

**As Maintenance Operative your duties will include**:

- Daily Production Meetings to prioritise daily tasks.
- Advise Managers of workloads/tasks for each day.
- Maintain Machinery and Tools, in line with Maintenance Schedules.
- Programme machine maintenance and downtime in line with production plans.
- Carry out tool servicing and repairs.
- Assess and carry out inspections of building maintenance logs.
- Carry out repairs in line with Building maintenance logs.
- Responsible for managing internal projects for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with purchasing to ensure material requirements are in line maintenance requirements.
- Assist Mill rollers in achieving quality compliant products.
- Documenting actions by completing production and quality assurance forms as appropriate.
- Arrange and liaise with external suppliers on repairs of items and machinery that cannot be fixed in-house.
- Legionnaires Control and Monitoring.
- To carry out maintenance as per factory production control.
- Ensure CE procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Assist with Quality Audits - Tool marking & Recording.
- Create & Ensure a fully updated asset register.
- Ensuring full health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times by all staff and all departments.
- Carry out H&S checks & ensure machinery pre-use checks are completed and send reports to teams groups.
- Ensure all machinery are H&S compliant at all times.
- Full responsibility for fire safety, drills, maintenance of fire equipment.
- Report to Factory Manager each morning to run through tasks.
- Any other duties to meet the needs of the business.
