**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Overview**
- To help develop/improve existing systems and processes so that there is a reactive, planned, preventative and project plan and compile and maintain records of reporting and rectifying maintenance issues.
- To ensure the maintenance stores, plant rooms, tools and equipment are maintained and kept tidy and that stocks of supplies are maintained to par levels.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance, strategies, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve the hotel operation. Including energy saving initiatives, recycling, inventory levels and budgetary controls.
- To ensure all work is planned and coordinated to ensure mínimal disruption to guests.

**Reactive Maintenance**
- To review the maintenance logs on Rezlynx and any issues raised on handovers for the hotel and the spa daily and ensure all issues are successfully resolved where practically possible. Any issues that are unable to be resolved straight away should be reported to line management so that they can assist with organising the correct necessary action.
- Ensure that there is a system of reporting and reacting to emergency issues
- Liaison with DM’s to act fast to contain issues such as power outages, leaks etc

**Planned Maintenance**
- To assist on working through a Planned Maintenance Plan (PMP) to ensure daily weekly tasks are undertaken when due and completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- As part of the PMP daily, weekly, monthly checks should be carried out to ensure the smooth running of the hotel and spa. E.g. boilers, ventilation system cleaning, gas appliances.
- To ensure all equipment and machinery is serviced and maintained in accordance with the service requirements.
- To liaise with internal and external contractors to minimise planned down time ensuring all tasks completed to a high standard.
- To ensure the hotel and spa comply with all health and safety requirements.

**Preventative maintenance**
- To carry out a programme of preventative maintenance on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis. Such as:

- Air conditioning filters,
- shower descaling,
- emergency light checks
- Drainage
- Ensuring that health and safety issues are adhered to at all times.
- Generally, maintain all facilities and equipment by conducting inspections on a regular basis.

**General**
- To support all departments as and when required and any other tasks that may be required from time to time.
- To ensure all files are kept up-to-date and organised.
- To participate in all training and development programmes.
- To deal with any complaints in a friendly and efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times referring matters to your line manager, if necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
