**Stock Controller**
**Full-time | Wrexham, Wales, United Kingdom**
**Play a central role in optimizing our business growth and customer service levels by performing the highest standards of Stock Office activities**
Efficient stock control and service delivery are extremely important to Norish, a UK-based, multi-temperature warehousing and logistics business. Key to our operations is a cold store in Wrexham, which provides services to importers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors. And it is this variety that makes this role an attractive opportunity if you’re an accurate and proactive Stock Controller. If you are looking to work in an informal atmosphere where you are free to develop yourself and your skills, please read on.
**An opportunity for a flexible professional within a busy workplace**
Your main task in this role as a Stock Controller is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of stock receipts and deliveries so that our customers are satisfied with our Stock Office function and the quality of communication. You achieve this via the effective use of our computerized stock management system and by constantly liaising with operational staff, drivers, third parties and customers to ensure that good communications and service levels are maintained.
In doing so you:
- Ensure the accuracy of all data processed;
- Manage the Purchase Invoice function in accordance with requirements;
- Perform general office functions including filing, faxing, post, desktop management and other administrative duties;
- Act as the main point of contact for a number of accounts and provide stock information for all accounts.
At all times you maintain the excellent standards of housekeeping expected by Norish and their customers, highlighting any issues to management as appropriate. You also ensure that work is up to date and operate a clear desk policy to meet the standards of any internal/external housekeeping inspection at any time.
Further, you provide a clear audit trail so that your work can be undertaken by the Cold Store Manager or a nominated colleague in your absence. You provide cover for elements of the Cold Store Manager role in their absence.
**A large and international structure**
Norish is a 100% subsidiary of the Nichirei Corporation. We work closely with other members of the Nichirei group such as Thermotraffic and Kevin Hancock Ltd to offer a seamless, end-to-end multi-temperature warehousing and logistics chain. You will therefore be working within a substantial and proven organization that offers all the resources necessary to do your job to the best of your ability.
**The Norish offer**
Norish takes pride in creating a friendly and informal working atmosphere where everyone looks out for each other. Other benefits include:
- Market based salary
- 20 days annual holidays
- Pension and insurances
- Training opportunities
- Ideally, you have previous stock control or related experience;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Able to present a professional approach to all site visitors, drivers, and third parties;
- IT literate, specifically Word/Excel;
