As Deputy Information Security Officer, you will be a member of a team responsible for the delivery of high quality, credible and timely advice and assurance activities, in line with legislative and Home Office requirements, Codes of Connection, national and local procedures and guidance.

Working with the Information Security Officer and in collaboration with key colleagues you will ensure that relevant elements of the service catalogue are successfully delivered in accordance with the ongoing key performance indicators and contribute to the improvement of service delivery.

You will be specifically responsible for compliance and advisory activities around information security and assurance matters. You will ensure interdependencies across all Information Management are aligned and compliant with regulatory and legal requirements whilst providing a positive customer experience.
- You will be comfortable in making risk-based decisions and have excellent customer service, problem solving and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of diverse and demanding customers across a variety of platforms.
- You will demonstrate effective report writing skills and the ability to act with discretion when dealing with sensitive cases or situations.
- Ideally you will have a good understanding of the Data Protection Act (2018), IT and physical security requirements and relevant standards and be willing to undertake role related training.
- Experience in the use of MS SharePoint is also preferable.
- InfoSec knowledge/experience would be beneficial
- Be well organised, self motivated and disciplined
