**Your New Role**

Zenergi is now hiring a Flexible Energy product owner on a full time, permanent basis to join us in our Brierley Hill office.

As the product owner, you will ultimately be responsible for delivering successful outcomes for our flex customers in line with their chosen purchasing strategy. You will keep abreast of industry changes specific to flex and their impact to the group, and at times interact with customers for complex market and product support. You will develop a dedicated pricing function and be responsible for ensuring adherence to internal SLAs and quality.

You will delight customers by developing effective reporting and management tools for the portfolio, delivering competitive & accurate pricing for the group, & informing service requirements across customer sectors.

**Main responsibilities**
- Responsibility for system and activity relating to management of flex trades and portfolio
- Develop and maintain a suite of reports for portfolio customers, including visualisation via PEPi to demonstrate performance, opportunity to forward purchase
- Report on successes to build credibility in the marketplace
- To act as a specialist for the group, that can be accessed by internal and (at times) external customers where relevant (for example as an appointed specialist or customer advocate)
- Maintain a knowledge base for use by the group, and provide proactive thought leadership and product insights through regular ‘did you know’ updates
- Facilitate growth through marketing campaigns and ongoing product/service development
- Steer the Market Watch Committee, including market reporting for internal and external use, and ensuring consistency in customer consultation/recommendations via the BDM & RM teams
- Act as a complex query escalation point, liaising with suppliers, customers & internal functions as necessary
- Ensure product & pricing coverage for the group at all times
- Establish a pricing function for use by the group (new, renewal, cross-sell), providing appropriate service levels (bespoke tender, framework, price comparison, matrix, sales support), including line management of relevant resource and adherence to Zen people management, performance and quality assurance practices
- Support new business activity to facilitate new wins (presentation, visits, calls or tender information)
- Support renewal activity to facilitate customer retention or cross-sell opportunities (visits, calls, tender info)
- Support effective and commercially beneficial relationships with suppliers and channel partners, maintaining a close network in conjunction with the Head of Strategic Partnerships
- Ensure all processes relating to flex products are documented & available to the teams utilising them
- Collaborate with senior operational leads to ensure cohesive and transparent working practices remain ‘fit
